How to Date During COVID

What if I told you that the best time to date is now? Yes, during COVID-19! The coronavirus pandemic surely put a monkey wrench on the traditional dating scene. Singles are thinking twice about meeting up at the local bar or movie theater. Oh, and that infamous text “Why don’t you come over and we can watch Netflix” isn’t a smart option either.
In some states, social restrictions are actively ramping up. If you are single right now, you may be thinking, “I’ll never find someone now!” Actually, this is the perfect time to find someone. An opportunity to truly get to know a person without the pressures of rushed intimacy. You know, like actually talking to a person for a while to see if they are a good fit for you. Find out if they are really someone you want to reign in for the long-haul or discover that you need to drop in the U-Haul!
Take this opportunity to use FaceTime, Zoom, WebEx, Duo and other creative avenues to communicate with a potential partner. Maybe, it can’t be Netflix, but perhaps a Zoom conversation and a glass of wine is a more fun and safer alternative!
